Tannaghmore Primary School teacher Margaret Hussey launched an initiative with her P4 class to make use of planters to grow wild flowers and herbs. Providing the pupils with an understanding of the concepts of ecology, life cycles and recycling.
The initiative has also been extended to the wider community, working with local community organisations such as P.I.P.S.
Lurgan Credit Union have provided funds to facilitate the purchase of a shed to function as a clubhouse for the community volunteers.
