A few words from Nicole:-

Being selected as the Armagh Rose was a huge shock for me. The girls at our Armagh selection were very special and to be chosen to represent them was just amazing! I think it took me a few days to gather myself. It was such an incredible high and a proud time for myself and all my family.  The support I received from my home town was truly overwhelming, a number of companies and local businesses in Lurgan have been very generous in terms of sponsorship which helped me on my journey to the Dome. I couldn’t have done it without them.

My time in Tralee was one of the most incredible experiences of my life.  One I will never forget. Getting to the Dome and on TV was just an added bonus! It was the 64 inspiring women I got to meet that made it so special. I have walked away with lifelong friends, I am incredibly grateful for them.

Post Tralee is just as busy for me and it is just fantastic!

I am representing The Children’s Cancer Unit at the Royal this year as well as raising awareness for Asthma.  I will be fundraising for both over the coming months and hope to raise as much money as possible. I am so looking forward to getting stuck in to fundraising through concerts and various other events!

Rose of Tralee is an incredible festival celebrating strong ambitious Irish women. To be in that line up is an honour and I can only hope I represent my county as well as our previous Roses.
